This weekend we went to Gwendolyn & Beckett's Birthday Bonanza. We had a lovely time. Wonderful friends, great fun, and a kickin' carrot birthday cake too (wicked yummy)!

Sucking on ice soothes my impending top teeth. Ooooooooohhhhhh.

Tastes Like Purple...

So I up n' gotst me a bit of Thrush. I had two choices for a cure - either 2 weeks of a weird tasting goo (Nystatin), or 2 days of a tasteless root tincture called Gentian Violet. The catch - Gentian Violet is really violet. And has staining properties similar to ink. In fact, Daddy was giving himself fake tattoos with the stuff. So I suppose I'll just walk around with permanent Popsicle-mouth for a few days. Oh, the price to pay for a quick fix.

Topsham Fair

On Saturday we went to the Topsham Fair. It was great fun. For much of the day I had this look on my face which my mom describes as frightened fascination.

What is that you ask? That is only the best desert ever. A deep fried Snickers Bar.

Here I am with my deep fried twinkie and my deep fried candy bar. This is just wrong. But soooo right.

We topped off our day by heading to the demolition derby. What a day!

Grandpa's Birthday

For Grandpa's birthday we took him out to dinner at Fat Boy's Drive In in the VW Bus. I enjoyed roaming around the bus while everyone waited for their food.

Tanya

Our old-time friend Tanya was in the states for a visit and dropped by. She has been hanging out in Mozambique for the last year. She is an awesome missionary lady!

11 months

On August 6th I turned 11 months. It is impossible for me to sit still, so this is it for pics. I also took my very first unassited steps on my 11 month birthday. I am really loving walking. (No red knees!)

Alan

Alan came to Maine and spent the week with us. We had fun hanging out with him. I think Alan is pretty cool.

This weekend I went to my first VW Show. I got to camp out in the Bus and see a bunch of cool Volkswagens.
