Down the Stairs

In our backyard we have a lovely staircase for climbing up and down. the steps are very shallow, which is good for little people like me. My new favorite thing is going up and down them over and over. I gaze out the window at them and say "steps" while I am inside.

I am also becoming good at imitating. Here is my surprised face.

Tea for Two

I had a lovely tea this morning with Mr. Lion. We chatted, and I offered him some of my cheerios.

At Last

The weather was finally warm enough for us to wear t-shirts and play outside. You would never know we had a snow storm two weeks ago and a Nor'Easter one week ago. Ahhhh, spring in Maine. Finicky, but well worth the wait. Elijah and I mixed up a tasty batch of stone soup.

Big Truck Day

Friday was Big Truck Day at the Topsham Library. Mommy and Daddy brought me mostly so that I could see the school bus. I have an obsession with the large yellow vehicles that takes my cousins away and drops them off. I thought it was pretty neat to go on it and look out the window. We even ran into Sacha, Parker, Beckett, and Gwendolyn while we were there.

Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy and Daddy bought us grandkids this cool trampoline. I think it is pretty fun, and it is great for practicing my balance.

Mommy, the baby, and me

Mommy and Daddy bought me these headphones. We are traveling by plane soon and they don't think the whole plane wants to hear Elmo sing.

Easter

Today was Easter. We celebrated by going to Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's house, eating lots of food, flinging rubber rabbits at each other, and going on a very cold walk.

I decided it was comfortable to sit on Elijah today. While I was there I gave him a head massage.

April Snow Showers? Bring...?

We got this freaky snow storm last night. We accumulated 14 inches of snow and it made the roads difficult and dangerous. Mommy had to drive in it last night, and Daddy had to go to work in it this morning. The snow was heavy and wet and we lost power this morning at around 5:30am. Praise God, we have a woodstove, and we were able to keep warm by hanging out in the kitchen. We got our power back by 11:30, and now you would hardly know it had been so bad this morning. Anyhow, it is currently 40 degrees and not snowing, and that makes for some good fun in the snow.

Mommy built this snow man for me. Complete with carrot nose and eyes made of coal.

Let me pull his arm out...
