Acoma Pueblo

On Wednesday we left the Wigwams and headed towards Albuquerque. En route we stopped at the Acoma Pueblo. It's a pretty neato place. They have recently built this gorgeous visitors center.

We went by shuttle bus to the pueblo which is situated high up on a Mesa.


This is the view from on top of the mesa.

We paused to have a little family portrait taken. Behind us is the old Pueblod cistern.

I met a cute doggie named chico.

A little boy who lives on top of the mesa.

Then we headed off into the sunset at 45 mph.
