Apache Trail

On Sunday we drove the apache trail. This is a very scenic, very steep drive through the Superstition Mountains outside of Phoenix. We took movies with the video camera, but we don't have many still shots of the cliffs and general scariness.
We stopped in at a reproduction mining camp. There were some neat things here, and the buildings were really cool.

As per ususal I slept through the most beautiful parts.

Mommy and me at the Roosevelt Dam.

A feat of engineering.

Beef Jerky for lunch anyone?

To top off the day, we had dinner at Mema's favorite Mexican restaurant in Phoenix, Serrano's. I take after my Mema, because I too loved the bean dip. (As evidenced by my face).
